Who we are

Amity Travel is a travel agency based at 28695 Ryan Rd, Warren, Michigan 48092, with a branch in Louisville, Kentucky. We arrange Umrah packages, Explore Islam tours and airline tickets. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Amity Travel, and "you" means anyone who uses our website or travels with us.

This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It covers this website and the bookings you make with us.

What information we collect

Information you give us on this website. When you use a form on our website, we collect what you enter:

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the topic and your message.
• Umrah registration: your name, email, phone, state, the departure you are interested in, add-ons, the number of travelers, room type and any message.
• Explore Islam inquiry: your name, email, phone, the programs you are interested in, the number of travelers and any message.
• Card authorization, "send and sign at our office": your name, phone, email, billing address, the amount, dates and purpose of the payment, the card type and your preferred visit date. Never your card number, expiry date or security code.

Information you give us when you book. To arrange your travel we ask for the details airlines, hotels and visa authorities require, such as each traveler's full name as it appears in their passport, date of birth, nationality and residency status, passport details and copies, photographs, vaccination records, emergency contacts and, where it applies, documents such as a mahram letter.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We use it to keep the website secure and working.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• reply to your questions and send you the information you ask for;
• arrange and manage your booking, including flights, hotels, ground transport, visas and travel insurance;
• process payments you have authorized;
• contact you before and during your trip, including by phone, email and WhatsApp;
• keep our website and services secure and prevent fraud and spam;
• meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. With your permission, we use the Meta Pixel to measure and improve our own ads on Facebook and Instagram (see "Analytics and cookies"). If we send you news about upcoming departures, you can ask us to stop at any time.

Payment card information

This website never asks for your card number, expiry date or security code, and no form on it accepts them.

To authorize a card payment, you can download our Bank Card Payment Authorization Form and complete it by hand, fill in the other details online and then print the form (what you type stays in your browser and is not sent to us), or complete the card details in person at our office. We use your card details only to process the payment you authorized.

Analytics and cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use only a few:

• Your cookie choice (amity_consent): remembers whether you allowed analytics, for up to 180 days.

Analytics and marketing cookies. These run only if you allow them, and you can change your choice at any time in the Cookie settings below:

• Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use our website.
• The Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) lets us measure how our ads perform, show our ads to people likely to be interested in them, and see when an ad led to an inquiry. Meta may combine this with information it already holds about you, under Meta's own privacy policy.

We never send your name, contact details or the contents of your messages to Google or Meta.

Content from other companies. Some pages show content from other services, which then receive your IP address and may set their own cookies:

• Google Maps, on our Contact page, loads when you scroll to a map.
• Videos play through YouTube's privacy-enhanced player only after you press Play.
• Our fonts are provided by Adobe Fonts.

How long we keep information

• Website messages and registrations: once a message reaches our customer records, we delete its personal details from our website systems. Personal details are never kept on our website systems for more than 30 days, and a basic record of the submission, without your personal details, is deleted after 90 days.
• Customer and booking records: we keep these for as long as we need them to provide our services and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
• Spam: messages identified as spam are not stored.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only as needed to provide our services:

• Travel suppliers: airlines, hotels, transport companies and our ground team in Saudi Arabia, so they can provide the services in your package.
• Visa and government authorities: including the Saudi Arabian visa systems used for Umrah, and other authorities where the law requires it.
• Service providers who work for us: for example our customer records system, email delivery and website hosting. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
• Analytics and advertising partners: Google (Analytics) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), only if you allow analytics and marketing cookies.
• When the law requires it: to comply with legal obligations, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our travelers, our staff or others.

We never sell your personal information.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, messages sent through our forms are stored encrypted, and access to customer information is limited to the staff who need it. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we work to protect yours.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your information, unless we need to keep it to complete your booking or meet a legal obligation;
• stop contacting you with news about our departures.

Depending on the state you live in, you may have further rights under state law. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond as required by law. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

Our website is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian provides the information we need for children traveling with their family.

Other websites

Our website links to other websites, such as Nusuk (hajj.nusuk.sa), WhatsApp and hotel websites. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
