Sample itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Istanbul
- Private transfer to the Legacy Ottoman Hotel; free afternoon.
Day 2: Istanbul Old City & Bosphorus
- Süleymaniye Mosque, the Balat and Fener neighborhoods, the Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the German Fountain, Topkapi Palace (outside) and the Spice Bazaar.
- Turkish lunch in Eyüp; 2-hour Bosphorus cruise.
Day 3: Istanbul: Asia & Europe
- Çamlıca Hill and Çamlıca Mosque, Beylerbeyi Palace, the Bosphorus Bridge, Eyüp Sultan Mosque, Pierre Loti café and cable car, Balat and Fener.
- 2-hour Bosphorus cruise.
Day 4–5: Free time in Istanbul · Bosphorus dinner cruise
- Two days at your own pace around Sultanahmet, the Grand Bazaar and the Spice Bazaar.
- One evening: Bosphorus dinner cruise.
Day 6: Fly to Cappadocia
- Half day in Istanbul; evening flight to Kayseri; transfer to My Cave Hotel.
Day 7: Cappadocia: Green Tour
- Optional sunrise hot-air balloon (extra cost; request 2 weeks ahead).
- Uçhisar Castle, an underground city, Love Valley, Rose Valley and Çavuşin village.
Day 8: Cappadocia: Red Tour
- Göreme Open Air Museum, Paşabağ fairy chimneys, Devrent (Imagination) Valley and an Avanos pottery workshop.
Day 9: Fly to İzmir · Kuşadası
- Early flight to İzmir; transfer to Kuşadası; free beach day.
Day 10: Pamukkale & Hierapolis
- Day trip to the Pamukkale travertines and ancient Hierapolis; optional swim in Cleopatra's Pool.
Day 11: Ephesus
- Ancient Ephesus: the Library of Celsus, the Great Theatre and Curetes Street.
- Overnight in Kuşadası.
Day 12: Fly to Istanbul · Depart
- Early flight İzmir–Istanbul to connect with your international flight.
