Sample itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo · Saladin Citadel
- Meet and assist at Cairo airport.
- Saladin Citadel and the Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha.
- Check in at the Four Seasons Nile Plaza; afternoon at leisure.
Day 2: Saqqara, Giza Pyramids & the Sphinx
- Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara.
- Visit to a local carpet school.
- Lunch at a local restaurant in Saqqara.
- Giza Pyramids, the panorama viewpoint, the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple of Khafre.
Day 3: Grand Egyptian Museum & Islamic Cairo
- Guided tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum, including the treasures of Tutankhamun.
- Lunch at Al-Azhar Park overlooking Islamic Cairo.
- Walking tour from Bab al-Futuh along al-Muizz Street: al-Hakim Mosque, the Qalawun Complex, sabils and madrasas.
- Al-Azhar Mosque, Khan el-Khalili bazaar, al-Hussein Mosque and El Fishawy café.
Day 4: Fly to Aswan · Board the Nile cruise
- Domestic flight Cairo–Aswan; board the cruise.
- Philae Temple, the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk.
- Felucca sail on the Nile.
- Dinner and Nubian show on board.

Day 5: Kom Ombo & Edfu
- Cruise the Nile Valley.
- Temple of Kom Ombo and the Crocodile Museum.
- Temple of Edfu.
- Sail to Luxor via the Esna Lock; galabiya evening on board.

Day 6: Luxor: West & East Banks
